Our customer service hours are Monday - Friday, 10am - 4pm EST (excluding public U.S. holidays). Please contact us with your order number if you have any questions or issues. Current average response time to your enquiry is within one business day. 

  • Upon placing an order, an order confirmation is automatically sent to your email.

    All orders are processed and shipped from our fulfillment center in New York City, Monday through Saturday, with the exception of public US holidays. Orders "awaiting fulfillment” are being processed by our warehouse and will be shipped as soon as possible.

    Please allow 1-5 business days for fulfillment in addition to your selected shipping method. Items in your order may ship separately to speed up processing. You will receive tracking information for each part of your order. Please take this into consideration when selecting your shipping method.

    Our current processing/fulfillment time is up to 3 business days.

    You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking as soon your order is fulfilled. Please note, there can be a delay between your order shipping and you receiving a shipping confirmation email, up to 2 business days. Some tracking numbers may take up to 7 days for tracking to update. During holidays and busy shipping seasons, tracking numbers can take much longer to update with the carrier and is outside of our control.

    We want to get you your order ASAP and are doing all that we can! However, order processing delays may occur and we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date. We thank you for your support and patience!

    Order confirmation emails do not constitute a contract, and orders may be canceled at any time due to inability to authorize a credit card, suspicion of fraudulent intent, discovery of an incorrectly priced item, insufficient stock, or any other reason, as we see fit. R U H L cannot guarantee that all items included in the shop are in stock at the time of your order. If an item is unavailable, customer support will notify you.

    R U H L reserves the right to amend content of the site at any time. R U H L will always strive to keep all of the information on the site as accurate as possible, including images and pricing, but errors can occur.

  • Please double-check your information before placing an order, as we are unable to guarantee any changes once the order is submitted.

    Cancel Order:

    Please contact us ASAP if you would like to cancel your order. While we will do our best to assist, cancellations are not guaranteed once an order is placed. If your order cannot be canceled in time, you may return it to us once received—provided it is eligible for return and not a final sale item.

    Address Changes:

    We are unable to guarantee that we can update your shipping address after an order is placed. If you request an address change, we may be required to cancel your order entirely so that it can be replaced with the correct address. R U H L is not responsible for lost or misdelivered packages when an incorrect address is entered at checkout.

    Order Changes/Updates:

    We cannot manually edit, add, or remove individual items in an order once it has been placed. Nor can we change the shipping method and/or payment method for an order once it has been placed. Please contact us ASAP so we can attempt to cancel your order, though we cannot guarantee cancellation is possible after an order is placed.

    Combine Orders:

    We cannot combine multiple orders into one shipment. All orders, once placed, will ship separately; as a result subsequent shipping fees will not be waived.

  • You may order a pre-order item to reserve your favorite item, but it will not be shipped to you until it is in stock. The expected ship date will be listed on the product page. If there are any changes to the expected ship date, the product page will be updated to reflect this information.

  • Some products may have shipping or licensing restrictions that limit where they can be sold.

    If a restricted item is in your cart, you’ll receive an error message at checkout indicating which products must be removed to complete your order.

  • All domestic orders are shipped from our warehouse in New York City.

    Our fulfillment center uses a diverse network of shipping carriers, and the appropriate carrier will be automatically selected during the fulfillment process based on the destination and weight of your order. Shipping costs vary depending on the weight and destination of the shipment.

    • Orders shipping to Hawaii and Alaska are sent via UPS 2nd Day.

    • Orders shipping to Guam, Puerto Rico, APO/FPO addresses, and PO Boxes are sent via USPS Priority Mail.

    Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date. Delays may occur that are outside of our control, especially during high-volume periods such as holidays. We recommend placing holiday orders early to allow time for processing and standard shipping.

    If your tracking is active (showing as in transit, delayed, etc.) and you would like more information on the progress of your order, we recommend that you contact the carrier directly. Carrier information can be found on your tracking email. You can contact us if you are having trouble locating the carrier.

  • Carriers can change at any time. All international shipments may be subject to additional duties, taxes, and other customs fees based on the destination country's taxes. Unfortunately, R U H L has no control over this and are not responsible for these additional fees. We ask that you allow additional time for international packages to arrive.

    Receiving countries may not have all shipping options available. All available shipping options will be presented to you when selecting shipping at your time of purchase. If an option is not available to you when making your selection we are unable to manually add it. We ask that you please choose from the available options.

    Orders shipped to the EU: To get your order to you, we've partnered with Passport Shipping and they will be noted as the 'Seller' on customs/duties paperwork for orders to the EU that are valued at €150 and under.

    We cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date. International destinations outside of the US may experience delays in customs processing and delivery. .For special holiday orders, we recommend that you order early to allow additional time for processing and shipping and take this into consideration when selecting your shipping method.

    For international tracking inquiries, we recommend reaching out to the carrier directly first for assistance. You can also contact us if you require additional support.

  • In some cases, an order may be returned to us for the following reasons: Address was entered/formatted incorrectly at checkout; order was not collected in time; additional duties, taxes, and/or other customs fees were left unpaid; etc.

    Please note that we are unable to reship your order and cannot refund the original shipping charges with the exception of the order being returned to us due to an error on our part.

    You will receive a refund for the items within your order once they are received back at our warehouse.

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return or exchange your item(s) within 10 days of receipt. Please contact ruhl@ruhl.nyc for return authorization control number and warehouse delivery address.
