No. 016 - Champagne Bucket

Silver plate over copper
10 inches x 9.25 diameter (25 x 24 cm)

A perfect blend of accretion, tarnish, and dings form the patina of this vintage champagne bucket. The markings on the bottom are an early Crescent stamp from Jervis, NY. The dealer and online research suggest this was produced in the late 1950’s to mid 60’s.

The best part is the exposed copper along the edges, and on the inside of the bucket. The classic champagne bucket silhouette and patina make it close to perfection.
