Materials:

Glass apothecary jars are new, first time use, which can be repurposed or recycled. Labels are made from 100% recycled materials and are easily removed, as is the hardware and cord.

Packaging:

We only use clean, rescued packing materials for all our purposes. We do not use materials produced for the primary market, packing tape and labels excluded.

Precautionary measures:

When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick. At no time should any burning candle be left unattended. Keep lighted candles out of reach of children and pets. Keep the wick trimmed to 5 or 6 mm, this length should be maintained thoughout the burning process. Ensure that the wick maintains its central position. Extinguish any candle that smokes excessively (check instructions before relighting). Do not burn a candle on a flammable or fragile surface. Do not let a candle burn for more than three consecutive hours.
